Amalia Nichols - Midtown Equities

Working for a boutique development company, Midtown Equities, has given native New Yorker Amalia Nicholas the opportunity to get her hands in all aspects of development, spanning legal, marketing, landlord tenant relations & coordination, construction management, project management, contract negotiations, expediting, asset management, procurement & logistics, public private partnerships as well as interior design. Though her career spans just under eight years, she has taken an accelerated path and is currently a Vice President of Construction & Development. She has already contributed to two iconic New York City landmarks, the Empire Stores in DUMBO and the Battery Maritime Building in downtown Manhattan. She majored in Urban Studies, Planning and Development with a minor in architectural studies at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Real Estate Development from NYU.
