As National Senior Manager of Trade Partner Diversity at Suffolk Construction, Dara is an ambassador and champion for increasing diversity within construction and the building trades. Dara leads various diversity initiatives, while supporting regional and national teams to execute strategic planning and optimize diversity strategies to enhance business and client needs. Dara leads outreach and community engagement with key stakeholders to drive impactful solutions. She also supports the development of SBE, M/W/VBE firms through Suffolk's 8-course small business accelerator program, Build With Us @ Suffolk. Prior to her role as National Senior Manager, Dara was a Compliance Officer with Suffolk's Trade Partner Diversity Team, where she managed and monitored the compliance on public and private projects to ensure a diverse workforce of minority tradesmen/tradeswomen, M/W/VBE business utilization, while creating access for local workforce. Her multi-faceted approach led to positive outcomes. Dara started with Suffolk Construction in 2019. Her versed background in economic development, a certified WBE small business owner, allows her to bring a unique perspective, skillset, and experience to this work and industry. Dara is passionate about diversity, equity, & inclusion, and committed to developing lasting solutions to expand diverse participation and increase diversity in construction.
