Native Bostonian trained in New York, Ariana began her career in the world of interiors after graduating at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2010. Starting in hospitality designing interior spaces for hotels and restaurants, Ariana's designs focused on promoting flexibility to be sociable and functional while maintaining an overarching desire to feel transformed within a harmonious space. In the process, Ariana learned about the space she was working with and the people she was working for. The almost magical role storytelling with strong narratives when designing such spaces both perplexed and intrigued Ariana to the point where she took a pivotal turn into residential design. Residential design married Ariana's hospitality cadence with her natural enjoyment of a more tangible relationship to the clients, the space, and the many possibilities that come with the layering of things that ignite the senses within a space. Her company, ABOX Collective, is a design entity focusing on building "happy places at homeABOX Collective's main objective is about building the magic found from our memories and intentionally transporting those into tangible design solutions.
