Fred Dumorne, Superintendent - Halmar International
Fred Dumorné is a hands-on construction engineer with sixteen years of field experience overseeing major infrastructure projects across New York City. With over a decade of practical knowledge in supervising large-scale rail ventures, he is a superstructure expert who specializes in concrete/inspection, rebar, and steel. A leader in excavation and soe installations, he is currently masterminding the creation of a completely new train station for Merillon Ave on the Long Island Railroad. As a well-seasoned people manager, Dumorné has directly supervised 150+ subcontractors, 200+ laborers, 20+ nationalities and is proficient in French, Creole, and German. He recently graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and is pursuing his professional engineering license in his spare time.
