Kevin Cort' is a first-generation Mexican-American born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He is very excited to serve as a diversity ambassador at NY Build 2023 and represent the Latinx and LGBTQ+ community. Since 2017, his professional career has revolved around Urban Planning and Environmental Review. His resume includes time at the NYC Dept. of City Planning, the NYC Council Land Use Division, serving as Director of Housing Initiatives in the City of Kingston, NY (Ulster County) and extensive experience in the private sector preparing and reviewing CEQR/SEQRA/NEPA documents. Since founding APS in 2022, Kevin and his team have focused on automating the CEQR process and other standard submission forms required for the CIty's ULURP process. Automation, Web-scraping, and Machine-Learning, are the best tools to reduce soft costs in the construction industry in NYC, and as a company APS is proud to be leading the pack.
