Mr. Flores has over a decade of experience working with underserved businesses, including minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses. He spent the first five years of his career working for the NYC Carpenter's Union and the NYC Business Solutions Center, assisting these underserved businesses in working with the union and navigating through the small business certification process, as well as supporting them in identifying opportunities and managing public procurement procedures. Recently, Mr. Flores has been working in the private sector, performing the role of Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager for high-profile public works projects across the country, in charge of overseeing the compliance, reporting, and outreach efforts. Mr. Flores works tirelessly to connect MWBE, DBE, and SDVOB firms with opportunities in critical infrastructure procurements across the country, and is heavily involved in community service, coaching and supporting the small business community to increase their participation in various programs and contributing to the development of these firms into viable, self-sufficient organizations capable of competing and performing on government projects.
