My name is Mehmet Kaan Capar, and I am a passionate and dedicated architect with a deep commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) in the construction industry. With 3 years of international experience in the field, I have seen firsthand the positive impact that a diverse and inclusive work environment can have on the quality of work and the satisfaction of every member of the construction industry. I received my B.Arch. degree from Middle East Technical University in Turkey with 'Dean's Special Award' for graduating with distinction, and I am awarded the Fulbright Scholarship. I obtained my Master of Architecture degree at Pratt Institute, with 3.90 GPA in Brooklyn, New York. Following my internship experience in 4 different prestigious companies, I worked in Moscow as a Project Architect and Design Office Head Architect in the construction of two different multi-million-dollar projects. After my first year in the Master of Architecture program, I worked as a Facade Engineer at Buro Happold New York Office in summer of 2022. After obtaining my master's degree, I went back to Buro Happold and I am currently working as an Architect/Facade Engineer in one of the most diverse companies.
