"Robert J. Balfanz is the Director of Workforce Development and Installation Certification Programs for the Vinyl Siding Institute. Previously, Mr. Balfanz has spent over 20 years in Operations, Construction Management, Supply Chain and Logistics, Continuous Improvement and Workforce Development Senior Leadership roles in both International and Domestic assignments. Coming from a Stone Mason family, Mr. Balfanz is certainly no stranger to the building trades and is a seasoned veteran in the art of installation for masonry, windows, doors, siding, and roofing. Mr. Balfanz is a demonstrated Player's Coach. He is trained and certified as a Certified Installer and Trainer and holds the Master Trainer designation at the Vinyl Siding Institute. Mr. Balfanz is also certified in both AAMA's Certified Installer (New Construction/Light Commercial & Replacement) Certified Installer programs. Mr. Balfanz is certified in Lean Six Sigma, a Certified Supply Chain Specialist and has completed the OSI Certified Installer Program for the use of the Quad Window & Door Systems. Mr. Balfanz is the Vice Chairman for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry's (NARI) Industry Partner Advisory Council, and recently has accepted the role of Chairperson for the Association for Career & Technical Education's (ACTE) WDF-CTE Advisory Council.
