In the Greater New York Chapter, we’re dedicated to NAWIC’s core mission of enhancing diversity, inclusion, and intersectionality within the construction industry, and business development opportunities.

We support women both in the office and on-site, striving to connect construction professionals and tradeswomen across our vibrant city.

The Greater New York Chapter of NAWIC is made up of a diverse group of women with varied backgrounds and expertise.

Our members include construction lawyers, engineers, architects, project managers, construction managers, salespeople, equipment suppliers, and general contractors, as well as site safety specialists, office personnel, marketing professionals, city inspectors, and tradespeople, to name a few.

This rich diversity of experience offers valuable benefits to our entire membership.

We offer a range of events, such as formal meetings, continuing education seminars, leadership sessions, panel discussions, hard hat tours, DEI events, Emerging Professional sessions, professional development and education events, MWBEs, golf outings, Gala, and much more. One of the members-only benefits of joining the NAWIC GNY chapter#240 is participation in the active Committees and programs.

Each Committees meet three to four times annually and feature timely and informative speakers covering a wide spectrum of relevant topics, including major development initiatives, public sector programs, market trends, business, management, marketing training, and policy priorities. The meetings also offer a great opportunity to network with industry peers and leaders.
