The Faculty of Architecture is part of the esteemed tradition of the University of Zagreb in Croatia, since 1919. The history of Croatian architecture in the 20th century is largely the history of our Faculty, being the protagonist of the most important architectural events in our country. Education on the Faculty consists of Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate studies, with four departments: Department of Architectural Design, Department of Architectural Technology and Building Science, Department of History and Theory of Architecture, and Department of Urban Planning, Spatial Planning and Landscape Architecture. There are five Institutes for professional activity: Institute of Architecture, Institute of Building Construction and Building Physics, Institute of Architectural Heritage, Institute of Urban Planning, Physical Planning and Landscape Architecture, and Institute for Research, Development and Innovation. The Faculty of Architecture is also represented in publishing activities, by the regular publication of the scientific magazine Prostor for architecture and urban planning.
