GDSNY Reveals New Lobby Design at One Saint Mark’s Place in Manhattan’s East Village

Renderings have been revealed for the GDSNY-designed lobby at One St Marks, a nine-story office building originally designed by Morris Adjmi Architects at 1 St. Marks Place in Manhattan’s East Village. Developed by Real Estate Equities Corporation, the structure yields 49,194 square feet of office space. The project also includes expansive wraparound terraces on levels five, six, and nine, and 7,776 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and cellar level. The property is alternately addressed as 3 St. Mark’s Place and located at the northeast corner of Third Avenue.

The above rendering shows the main entrance along Third Avenue, which features a metal canopy that will be topped with greenery. The lobby will feature Jet Mist granite flooring, silver travertine walls, integrated cove lighting, and custom Dinesen millwork.

One Saint Marks features a Belden brick façade, rounded corners, and curved glass panels. Office interiors include 15-foot ceiling heights and floor-to-ceiling windows. Amenities will include 24/7 concierge service. Meanwhile, Sephora has signed on to lease the ground-floor retail space.

The property is located one block from the Astor Place station, served by the 6 train.

Leasing recently launched for the building and is being led by GDS Development Management (GDSNY). Construction on the lobby is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
