Brookfield's waterfront tower complex is now under construction. The development will cost nearly $1 billion and will eventually consist of seven towers featuring a combined total of 1,350 apartments across a 4.3 acre property.

The project, which is split into two phases, is starting with a parcel fronting Third Avenue, where a pair of 25-story buildings and a 17-story tower are sprouting from an eight-story podium.  The first building, the 455-unit Third at Bankside, is slated to open for residents by the end of 2021.
