Simpson Strong-Tie spotlights framing, anchoring and reinforcement at New York Build Expo

Simpson Strong-Tie will put speed, accuracy and build quality in the spotlight when it exhibits at New York Build Expo on 18 to 19 March 2026, with a strong focus on its Quick Frames system alongside several recently introduced products.

The company’s stand will center on Quick Frames, a prefabricated steel framing solution designed to simplify the construction of structural openings. The system is aimed at saving time on site by reducing field fabrication and helping contractors achieve consistent, repeatable results for window, door and mechanical openings. For projects where coordination between trades is critical, Quick Frames is positioned as a way to streamline installation while supporting code compliance and structural requirements.

Alongside Quick Frames, Simpson Strong-Tie will showcase its RFB Retrofit Bolt, developed for anchoring into existing concrete and masonry when used with anchoring adhesives. The precut threaded rod is supplied with a nut and washer already assembled, helping to reduce handling time on site. Each end of the rod is stamped with its length in inches and color-coded to identify the steel grade. For diameters of one half inch and above, the company’s No-Equal symbol is also stamped, aiding post-installation inspection. Multiple grades and precut sizes are available to suit a range of load conditions.

Visitors will also be able to see the Outdoor Accents Decorative Hardware range, aimed at exterior wood construction where appearance and performance both matter. The Mission Collection offers a traditional look, while the Avant Collection provides a more modern aesthetic. Both use a hex-head washer and fastener combination designed to give the appearance of a bolted connection while installing like a screw. The Sage System adds modular connectors intended to make pergola construction quicker. All components are made from ZMAX galvanized steel with a black powder-coat finish and are tested for strength and durability.

Completing the line-up are Simpson Strong-Tie’s Quick-Lock reinforcement alignment products, including pier wheels, pier boots, bar boosters and Unibar centralizers. Used in deep foundations, drilled shafts and soil stabilization work, these plastic spacers and centralizers are designed to help maintain correct concrete cover, support proper grout flow and reduce the risk of corrosion.

Founded in 1956, Simpson Strong-Tie designs and tests structural solutions for wood, steel and concrete construction, supporting safer buildings through engineering and product development. More information can be found at https://www.strongtie.com
