NIBS: Resiliency & Infrastructure in a Climate of Change

03 Mar 2022
BUILDING SOLUTION, MATERIALS & POLICY WORKSHOPS (Workshop 1) , NETWORKING HUB
The National Institute of Building Sciences, better known as NIBS, was founded by Congress in 1974 to bring together experts throughout the building industry to support advances in building science and technology. NIBS has convened the government and private sector stakeholders for decades to address critical issues and this year will be no exception. As we emerge from two years working in the virtual environment to begin evolving the new workplace norm, our country faces critical issues addressing climate change effects on our communities, improving America’s infrastructure, and mitigating security and energy risks. With a focus on resilience, technology and sustainability, NIBS is organizing our stakeholders to spark discussions, share ideas, and collaborate to support innovative resolutions. Join NIBS’ networking break so you can learn ways you can contribute to NIBS and join their mission to improve lives through advanced science in our built environment.
