Bahar Ozveren, PMP, LEED AP BD+C
Bahar is a Project Manager in the Project and Program Management group at AECOM Metro New York. With more than a decade of experience in program and construction management and project controls, she has worked on large-scale programs from pre-construction to execution and close out in a variety of sectors, including housing, education, commercial, sports, aviation, and justice. Bahar is currently the Reporting Manager for the New York City Housing Authority’s Heating Program. She previously served as the Project Controls Lead for the Hurricane Ian Emergency Remediation and Stabilization Program, Cost Manager for the New York City Department of Design and Construction’s Borough-Based Jails Program, and Project Controls and Finance Lead for the FEMA-funded Emergency Housing Repairs Program in the US Virgin Islands. Prior to joining AECOM, Bahar held various roles within the construction industry in Europe and the Middle East. Last year, she was honored by Women Builders Council (WBC) as a Next Generation of Women Builders and is currently participating in Coro’s Leadership New York program. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University and a Master of Science in Construction Engineering and Management from Columbia University.
