Dan Piselli

Daniel has over 25 years of experience as an architect and has led design teams on educational, cultural, residential and infrastructure projects, including the Statue of Liberty Museum. Dan now directs FXCollaborative’s sustainability efforts, working with each project team to design healthier and more efficient buildings that are better stewards of the environment. He has extensive experience in sustainable design, including interiors, new buildings and deep energy retrofits. His recent experience includes leading sustainability efforts for FXC’s own office which achieved the highest LEED v4 Platinum score for an interior project in the country, and support for the renovation of New York University’s Rubin Hall, which achieved LEED v4 Platinum and is the largest EnerPHit certified residential building in the world. Dan is a co-chair for the AIANY COTE Policy sub-committee where he is working on state-level embodied carbon legislation among other environmental policy initiatives.
