David Rivera

Director of Operations , Broadway Construction Group

As Director of Operations, David Rivera brings over twenty-four years of professional experience in Architecture and Construction, with key experience in healthcare, education, commercial and corporate interiors. He received his Bachelor of Professional Studies in Architecture at the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as both his Master of Urban Planning and Master of Architecture also at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is part of the American Institute of Architects and the Construction Management Association of America.

A dedicated individual and valuable team player, David’s responsibilities have included new construction and renovation of buildings and interior design, project management, procurement, contract administration, CPM scheduling, construction change orders, project documentation controls, BIM and the use of computer based project management systems. In addition, David has significant experience in on-site interactions with owners, clients, contractors, and consultants. David is unmatched in his attention to detail from pre-design through construction administration.

David has worked as a Senior Project Manager for ZDG, LLC, specifically on their $125 million Admiral’s Row retail, commercial and industrial project (part of Steiner Studios at Brooklyn Navy Yard). This project consisted of five (5) distinct buildings, including a new 5-story industrial building that houses the first Wegman’s Supermarket in NYC, two new 2-story industrial buildings, a recreation of the first timber-framed building at the Navy Yard and the extensive restoration of the last remaining 3-story residence for former Navy officers.
