Dr. Cem Keskin is an accomplished energy manager and researcher dedicated to scaling smart, sustainable energy solutions across large-scale residential and commercial portfolios. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the conceptualization of cyber-physical-social systems and their applications within the built environment.

Cem began his career in the manufacturing sector managing energy efficiency projects before joining the Center for Energy, Environment and Economy (CEEE) in 2014. There, he led engineering and managerial efforts for high-impact EU Horizon projects and international consultancy initiatives. Currently, he serves as the Energy Manager for Related Management Company, where he facilitates data-driven decision-making for portfolio-level audits, carbon compliance, and investment planning.

He brings deep, hands-on experience bridging academia and industry, focusing on the intersection of engineering, digitalization, and the human factor to optimize energy performance in large-scale buildings and campuses. Cem is an active contributor to ASHRAE and CIBSE technical committees and serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Intelligent Buildings International (by Taylor & Francis).
