Ernest (Ernie) Sobieski is the Regional Safety Manager for Clune Construction’s East Coast Region, overseeing worker safety for the company’s New York and Washington, DC offices. He has been with Clune for over two years, and has more than three years of experience as a safety professional. Since his father was an iron worker, he has always had an interest in the important role that safety plays in the construction industry. Prior to joining Clune, Ernie was a Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator for Cintas. Ernie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Rutgers University. He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Public Health in Occupational and Environmental Health at Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Ernie is also in the process of obtaining his certification as a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS).
