Francis W. Cooke, AIA
Thomas Abdallah, P.E. LEED AP, ENV SP is the Vice President Design Services and Chief Environmental Engineer for the MTA’s Construction and Development (MTA C&D) agency. Thomas holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University. Thomas is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University in the Sustainability Management graduate program. As Vice President Design Services, DSO, Construction and Development he provides executive engineering oversight and management expertise that is responsible for Design Standards & Guidelines. As Chief Environmental Engineer he is responsible to provide expert environmental engineering services for all MTA capital projects and ensures that all design and construction projects meet environmental requirements including the National Environmental Policy Act and the NY State Environmental Quality Review Act. Thomas has appeared on Discovery Channel, PBS, NPR, numerous environmental podcasts, and appeared in an episode of History Channel’s Modern Marvels – Moving America.
