Senior Structural Engineer, AECOM
James manages the Structural Engineering Department in AECOM’s Philadelphia office. In this capacity, he works on major projects on the East Coast, including, most recently, New York City Economic Development Corporation’s Brooklyn Bridge-Montgomery Coastal Resilience. Working with a team of 12 engineers, James performs structural engineering analysis, including on-site structural investigations and evaluations of existing structures; designs transportation, industrial, commercial, and waterfront structures; and provides engineering services during construction, including constructability reviews, shop drawing reviews, field observations, and resolution of field and as-built problems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and another in Architectural Engineering, both from Drexel University. James is an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction and American Society of Civil Engineers and serves as President of the Philadelphia Section of the Structural Engineering Institute.
