His approach weaves together project specific programming goals with broader urban planning initiatives brining forth dynamic building forms that contribute to New Jersey’s evolving skyline.
Juan was recently named to the prestigious 40 Under 40 North America list, launched by the World Architecture Festival (WAF) and The Architect’s Newspaper. The honor recognizes emerging architects across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico whose work is shaping the future of the built environment. He was selected for his forward-thinking design approach, use of emerging technologies, and commitment to meaningful, community-centered placemaking.
As a proud immigrant of the Dominican Republic, his work reflects a deep understanding of cultural identity and the significance of equitable urban growth in communities such as Jersey City, Newark, Hoboken, Bayonne, and New Brunswick. His perspective is further strengthened by prior experience in luxury residential design-build, Passive House multifamily construction, adaptive reuse, and urban planning.
