Krishani Teeluck, PhD is a Senior Sustainable Design Specialist with a focus on embodied carbon and lifecycle emissions in large-scale infrastructure projects. She is currently leading the embodied carbon analysis for a major rail infrastructure initiative, where she evaluates material quantities, transportation distances, and specifications to quantify cradle-to-gate emissions using Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Her work supports the identification of high-impact materials and the development of targeted carbon-reduction strategies across planning and design phases. With a background as a research chemist developing cost-effective hydrogen production, Krishani brings a rigorous technical lens to sustainable design. She collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability considerations into decision-making, ensure data accuracy through stakeholder coordination, and support sustainability certification documentation and compliance. Her expertise spans sustainability analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Krishani remains dedicated to helping public agencies reduce embodied emissions, align with net-zero goals, and advance a lower-carbon, more resilient built environment.
