Ladan Haji-Mohamed is a Senior Sustainability Engineer at Skanska USA, where she partners with clients to shape and deliver sustainability goals, with expertise spanning multiple sustainability rating systems and strategies to reduce embodied carbon in the built environment. Ladan’s portfolio includes work across diverse sectors including commercial development, higher education, transportation, aviation, and mission-critical facilities. Previously, Ladan served as the sustainability lead for the LaGuardia Airport Terminal B Redevelopment Program, guiding the project to achieve LEED v4 Gold, Envision v3 Platinum, and compliance with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s Sustainable Building and Infrastructure Guidelines. Ladan holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Master of Science in Sustainability from the City College of New York.
