Director, Communications, American Society of Interior Designers

Lindsey Koren is Director of Communications at the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), where she leads strategic communications, media relations, and research storytelling that amplify the organization’s influence across the built-environment. As a contributing writer to ASID’s major research publications,  including the Economic Outlook, State of Interior Design, Compensation & Benefits Report, and climate-focused research briefs, Lindsey helps translate data into insights that guide industry dialogue and decision-making. She co-authored ASID’s 2026 Trends Outlook and regularly presents and moderates conversations at leading industry events.

Before joining ASID, Lindsey served as a publicist on the inaugural staff at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., supporting its historic opening and contributing to work recognized with a Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America. She began her career in journalism, studying at the University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism and working in sports media at NBC4 Washington.
