Marty Waisbrod
Marty Waisbrod is the founder and principal of Promont, a development and construction firm with over 400 ground-up projects across the Tri-State area. He began his career managing a 1,600-unit residential portfolio and played a key role in its complex sale to a REIT. Over 25 years later, Marty continues to lead Promont across multifamily, commercial, and institutional projects, specializing in ground-up construction and large-scale adaptive reuse, often serving as both developer and general contractor from design and financing through construction and delivery. He has worked with national retailers including TD Bank, Petco, Michaels, Pier 1 Imports, Retro Fitness, and Blink Fitness, as well as New York City nonprofits and state real estate agencies.
Marty also founded Smarcon, a Building Information Modeling (BIM) firm focused on improving preconstruction coordination through advanced technology, and Latitude Compliance, which helps property owners navigate New York City’s Local Law 97 energy compliance requirements.
