Max is the Vice President of Sustainability for AECOM’s Construction Management group where he is focused on carbon emissions in construction. Previously, Max was the regional leader of HOK’s Northeast sustainability team based in New York. With 20+ years of experience on projects ranging from the World Trade Center to a Sustainability Strategic Plan for Purdue University, to the LEED Platinum NRDC headquarters renovation, Max is adept at using sustainability as a tool for innovation and uncovering new value for clients. Most recently, he developed a simplified design framework—the Architecture of Well-Being—that leverages health and well-being to come back from the COVID crisis stronger than ever.
