Mr. Fishman has 30 years of experience representing owners and operators of critical infrastructure in the New York metropolitan area, nationally and internationally. He is expert at managing interdisciplinary delivery teams and diverse stakeholders, facilitating clear communications between clients, communities, and decision makers. He is skilled at improving budgets and schedules from initial planning and team formation through design and construction, operations, and stewardship. He is vigilant about safety and focused on evolving delivery methods that minimize impacts and logistics strategies that maximize physical accessibility. He has a proven track record of effectively meeting and exceeding client expectations by delivering strategic projects while simultaneously realizing environmental, social, and economic outcomes. He has taken ultimate responsibility for managing public and private capital investments ranging from $50K to $1B.
Mr. Fishman remains an Adjunct Professor of resilient infrastructure for over 20 years, at Columbia University GSAPP, Cooper Union School of Engineering and currently at NYU Schack Real Estate Institute. His studio and lecture classes focus on adapting the built environment to help mitigate risk in geographies prone to crisis.
