Michael O'Mara
Michael J. O’Mara joined JB&B in 2025 and serves as a Senior Engineer in the Building Intelligence Department. His work centers on IT and OT network convergence, design coordination, data infrastructure strategy, and providing technical guidance to clients throughout project lifecycles.
With a primary emphasis on smart building integration in New York City, Michael brings a systems-oriented approach to complex building environments, helping align control systems, data architecture, and network infrastructure to support reliable and scalable building performance.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the College of the Holy Cross. He has experience as a network architect and infrastructure strategist, as well as a
Niagara4 controls programmer and building systems integrator. This multidisciplinary background enables him to bridge enterprise software, automation platforms, and building infrastructure to support cohesive design and implementation of smart building systems.
