Mike Gobbo has fifteen (15) years of construction experience with five (5) as a member of Local 592 Skilled Building Laborers while attending Fairleigh Dickinson University and earning a BS in Business Marketing. Then ten (10) years as a Safety Professional spanning various complex scopes of work involving high rise buildings, airports, tunnels, bridges, manufacturing and refinery projects. Mr. Gobbo was approved Site Safety & Health Officer by the US Army Corps of Engineers and oversaw contracts on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL), Philadelphia Navy Yard and Ft. Schuyler Bronx, NY. Then as a Safety Director for a contractor to write and implement a corporate safety plan to be used on all projects. After two years Mr. Gobbo served as Site Safety Manager at the Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ. and supervised field safety managers while managing the safety program and participating in additional committees and projects with facility operator. Mr. Gobbo was hired by the Port Authority of NY & NJ and assigned to the World Trade Center project team until the Oculus was completed and then assigned to the LaGuardia Redevelopment project as Construction Safety Lead. As an OSHA Authorized Trainer, has trained over 500 people in the OSHA 10-hour course.
