Ray Houseknecht is a senior real estate and operations executive with over 20 years of experience leading large-scale residential, hospitality, and mixed-use portfolios. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Operations & Head of Residential at Rudin Management Company, Ray partners with executive leadership to drive enterprise strategy, operational excellence, and scalable growth. Since assuming this role, he led the restructuring of the multifamily platform, delivering a significant improvement to NOI while overseeing leasing, facilities, engineering, and procurement functions.

Previously, Ray served as Global Head of Operations and Asset Management for WeLive by WeWork, where he restructured the global platform, increased revenue by over 500%, and negotiated development and management deals across more than 20 Tier 1 cities worldwide. Earlier leadership roles at AvalonBay Communities included oversight of 3,000 luxury apartments, major development and renovation projects.  Ray is also frequent industry speaker and nonprofit board member.
