Ryan has 19 years of experience in the public and private sectors leading various passenger, freight transportation, and logistics projects. As Transportation Planning Lead for Jacobs in New York, Ryan leads a team of transportation planners that work on a variety of transit, rail, EV, corridor, freight, and complete streets projects. Prior to joining Jacobs, Ryan worked at VHB and the NYC Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), where he served as Vice President in the Planning Division.  Ryan is the Project Manager for Jacobs on the MTA’s Interborough Express (IBX) NEPA EIS, and recently helped secure $1.2 billion in federal funding to support the rehabilitation of the East River Tunnels for Amtrak. Ryan holds a Masters in Urban Planning degree (MUP) from New York University.
