Sebastian Serafin
Sebastian Serafin is working as Senior Advisor at Innovation Norway in New York, where he supports high-growth technology and proptech companies in U.S. market entry and expansion. Working in close 1:1 advisory settings with founders and executives, he advises on strategy, commercial traction, partnerships, and capital access, collaborating closely with Norwegian proptech clusters and ecosystem partners. From 2021 to 2023, he led the Berlin Business Office, USA at the German-American Chamber of Commerce in New York, representing the State of Berlin in the entire USA, directly reporting to the Berlin State Senator for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises and Deputy Governing Mayor of Berlin, Germany.
He also serves as Chairman of the Foreign Trade Commissioners Association New York (FTCA), an alliance of more than 100 foreign trade and investment offices fostering cross-border investment. As a founder, he has raised more than $6 million USD in angel, venture, and international grant funding, including support from the EIC Accelerator, Google DNI, and Betaworks New York, and is an alumnus of leading U.S. accelerator programs (e.g. Plug&Play Accelerator Silicon Valley, Google for Startups: AI First, Betaworks LiveCamp, among others).
