Shiva Dhawan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Attentive.ai, a company redefining how the construction and field services industries operate with AI-driven preconstruction platforms.
A mechanical engineer turned entrepreneur, Shiva started Attentive.ai with three guiding beliefs: that AI would reshape industries, that images held immense untapped potential, and that the only real compass was the customer’s problem.
Under his leadership, Attentive.ai has grown into one of the fastest-scaling AI companies in construction technology. Its flagship platform - Beam AI now power takeoff, estimating, and preconstruction workflows for over 1,200 customers across North America. With a 200-member team and $11M+ ARR, the company is making AI the backbone of how contractors bid, build, and grow.
Before founding Attentive.ai, Shiva served as CEO of a deep-tech services firm, scaling it to $2M in annualized revenue. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi, and has built a career at the intersection of technology, design, and industry transformation.
