Sigal Shemesh
Sigal is a sustainability strategist and licensed engineer with over a decade of experience driving high-performance, climate-forward solutions across the AEC industry. She specializes in aligning technical expertise like energy modeling, carbon accounting, and building performance with visionary goals to help clients meet ambitious sustainability targets.
Prior to joining JLL, Sigal directed sustainability strategy at SOM's New York studio and previously honed her expertise at Buro Happold as an energy modeler and sustainability engineer. Notable projects in her portfolio include buildings for Princeton University, Columbia Business School, and multiple US Embassies in various countries. Sigal also serves as an Adjunct Professor at both Columbia University and New York City College of Technology.
