Siobhan Watson
Siobhan Watson serves as Vice President for Sustainability at the New York City Housing Authority. In this role, Siobhan oversees the development of sustainability policies and programs including climate adaptation planning, energy and decarbonization efforts, and waste infrastructure upgrades.
Under her leadership, NYCHA has launched transformative programs such as cloudburst flood mitigation infrastructure, expanded clean energy and waste management systems, and advanced electrification projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve resident comfort and well-being.
Siobhan champions cross-sector partnerships with city agencies, community organizations, and industry leaders to drive sustainable outcomes that benefit both residents and the broader built environment.
Prior to her current appointment, Siobhan has held sustainability roles in consulting, government, and academia. Her work reflects a commitment to equitable climate solutions that enhance the livability and resilience of urban communities.
