Speakers

Stacey is the Principal of Stacey Ruhle Kliesch, Architect, LLC, which was established in 2003. Ms. Kliesch is licensed to practice architecture in NY and NJ, and a NJ Certified Interior Designer. Stacey received her Bachelor of  Architecture from the Catholic University of America, followed by Masters of Science in Management and Architecture from NJIT. She has been an Adjunct Professor, Guest Lecturer or Visiting Critic at the New Jersey Institute of Technology Hillier College of Architecture and Design, Michael Graves College at Kean University, Berkeley College and Bergen Community College. 

A published and award-winning architect, she has been a member of AIA since 1993, 2006 President of The Architects League of Northern New Jersey and 2009 President of AIA New Jersey. Stacey has received the AIA NJ Distinguished Service Award, was recognized as Young Architect and Intern Architect of the Year, and received the Architects League’s highest honor, the Vegliante Award, Community Service Award, as well as multiple Trustees Awards. Stacey is the chair of the AIA NJ Equity in Architecture Committee and Advocacy Consultant for the AIA NJ Public Awareness Committee. Stacey has also held a New Jersey Real Estate License since 2003.

Stacey mentors colleagues of all ages and stages of career, but is especially passionate about K-12 programming. She has been a team advisor and juror for the New Jersey School Board Association’s annual STEAM Tank Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition since its inception in 2015, and Academic Programs Liaison for the NJIT Hillier College of Architecture and Design from 2007 to 2025. Stacey also serves on the advisory boards at four schools: Endicott College Advisory, Northern Valley Regional High School STEM Advisory, Hudson County Schools of Technology High Tech High School CTE Advisory and Fair Lawn High School CTE Program Advisory.

Stacey has served on the Valley Hospital Auxiliary, Ridgewood Crew Board of Trustees, Ridgewood High School Swim Team Board of Trustees, Brant Beach Yacht Club Past Commodore, Long Beach Island Yacht Racing Association Past Commodore, Long Beach Island Swim Team League Founder and President, Girl Scout Leader and Performer / Choreographer for the Ridgewood Jamboree Foundation.

Stacey loves traveling, public speaking, planning parties, playing games, visiting museums and theaters, dancing and singing, practicing Pilates, reading, American Mahjong, all water sports, and spending time on the beach. She resides in New Jersey with her husband, Gary, daughters Payton and Skylar, and beloved pup, Piper.
