Vahid Arefi
Vahid Arefi is the Energy and Sustainability Manager for Selfhelp Realty Group, managing their existing buildings. They previously worked as a Sustainability Specialist at PSG Energy Group, where he supported clean energy project development and solar system design. He was a Climate Control Systems Core Components Engineer for Ford Motor Company, contributing to electrified vehicles' climate and comfort, battery cooling, high voltage charging, second-life battery reuse, and sustainable materials. They hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan with concentrations in Energy and Sustainable Engineering and an MFA in Creative Writing from West Virginia University. Their creative writing has appeared in Poetry Online, Pidgeonholes, and Midwestern Gothic.
