As Digital Transformation Leader for the East Region, Wes currently oversees the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s digital transformation program. Prior to joining AECOM, he worked for a global design, engineering, and management consulting company where he managed large-scale infrastructure programs, advised on business change strategies, and led the digital transformation of the firm’s global program management capability. Wes began his career as a construction and project manager in the United Kingdom before transitioning to program management and controls and latterly focusing on change management and process improvement projects. He has authored several books and published technical articles in trade and academic journals on project controls, innovation, data strategies, change management, cultural change, and motivation and leadership. Wes previously served as Chair of the Chartered Institute of Building’s Manchester Hub, Vice-Chair of the UK’s Constructing Excellence Manchester network, and a core member of the UK’s BIM Task Group focusing on the digitization of the UK AEC sector. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a Master of Science in BIM and Integrated Design from the University of Salford in the UK.
