As Project Manager, Zafirah leads the Digital Solutions team, part of the Buildings + Places group in the East Region of AECOM. With expertise in requirements and scope management, traceability, user-centric approach, and design thinking, she oversees the planning, building, and delivery of innovative solutions, such as data systems and web applications. In this capacity, Zafirah advises clients, including Microsoft, New York City Transit, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, on technology adoption and provides guidance to help them overcome obstacles. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Statistics with a focus on data science from the City University of New York.
