Zehua Zhang
Zehua Zhang is an architect with seven years of professional experience in New York and currently serves as an Associate Principal at KPF. He is a licensed architect in New York State, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and a LEED Accredited Professional. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded the Master of Science in Design: Advanced Architectural Design Prize for Design Excellence.
His work has received international recognition through numerous architectural competitions, including the Platinum Winner in the 2025 IADA International Architecture & Design Awards, the Gold Prize in the 2025 MUSE Design Awards, an Honorable Mention in the eVolo Skyscraper Competition, and Second Prize in the UIA International Idea Competition organized by the International Union of Architects.
His practice spans projects of diverse scales and typologies, ranging from large-scale new construction to historic preservation and adaptive reuse. His experience includes residential, office, mixed-use, campus, and urban planning projects across the United States, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Working across varied cultural and urban contexts has strengthened his ability to develop context-sensitive design strategies and collaborate effectively within international teams.
