NYC-born and bred. I am a mother and grandmother who began working in the industry when I was about 20 as a laborer. At the time it was very rare to see a woman on a construction site. Learning to read blueprints and schematics changed the way I viewed the work I was doing and set me on a new path that led to expediting, estimating, and eventually project management. I find the work that I do to be fun, tangible, and lasting. Seeing a project through from concept to completion gives me a sense of satisfaction and joy.
