Raised in Harlem, NY, Crystal has broken down barriers in the construction industry as a safety professional and business owner. Crystal is proud to be a woman of color in a male dominated industry. Crystal is CEO/President of the MWBE Certified Safety firm CDT EHS Consulting LLC established in 2007. CDT EHS Consulting LLC and the Teaching Division, The Safety Diva's' Academy, provides a bridge to safety success through expert, passionate consultation, they utilize a systemic approach to elevate your corporate growth. Crystal is a Ph.D. candidate, at Capitol Technology University. EH&S is her passion. Crystal studied in the MS (EOHS) program at Hunter College CUNY. She has a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University. She has more than 30 years of experience in multifaceted environments. She is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Safety Management Specialist (SMS), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST), and Construction Site Fire Safety Manager NYC NYPD (CSFSM). She is an OSHA Construction Outreach Instructor.
