Esi-Kilanga Bowser, Senior Project Manager, Turner Construction Company

Esi-Kilanga Bowser is a Senior Project Manager at Turner Construction Company. She has been with Turner since 2006 and has been in the design and construction industry since 2001. She received her Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Miami and her Masters of Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University. She currently holds several professional industry accreditations such as DBIA, LEED AP BD+C, and NCARB. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the National Organization of Minority Architects. With Turner, Esi has worked on several notable projects around New York City such as well as Esi served as the Director of Centralized Engineering from 2015 to 2020 where she led the training and standardization for engineering operations within Turner’s New York City Office. Currently, Esi is serving as a Senior Project Manager for the interior fit-out of a 1.3 Million sq. ft. headquarter office and amenities space at 550 Washington St in the Hudson Square area in New York City. Esi’s personal mission is to use her skills to transform the physical environment by turning design ideas into reality for everyone to experience. Esi is proud to exemplify Turner’s core values of Teamwork, Integrity, and Commitment. She is excited to help cultivate and inspire the next generation as well as uplift, advocate and encourage her peers and others on what their own version of success looks like. Esi lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and three children.
