Jennifer Sharon Antony Nelsson, Graduate Student - Columbia University

Jennifer Sharon Antony Nelsson is a graduate student at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science of Columbia University, enrolled in the Masters program in Civil Engineering specializing in Construction Engineering and Management. She received her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Anna University in 2020. She holds a LEED Green Associate credential, and is currently working towards the LEED AP BD+C specialization. Jennifer is Research Fellow of the Columbia University Center for Buildings Infrastructure and Public Space, currently focusing on research related to data analytics and smart infrastructure. As an Architectural Intern, she has assisted on a variety of projects ranging from micro to macro scale. Having managed design and business development at Immigreat Global, a mobile and web-based tech startup, Jennifer was engaged in the development of innovative and competitive technical solutions for all aspects of business performance. This further accentuated her interest in project management, leading to the pursuit of a graduate degree. Fueled by passion for understanding the nuances of the built environment as both a process and a product, Jennifer is eager to build on academic foundations in construction and stay in tune with the latest practices through continued coursework and professional development.
