As a recent Graduate of CUNY New York City College of Technology, Kendall joined the construction world less than 6 months ago. Working in construction has been Kendall’s goal since she was a teenager when she was exposed to the exciting world of Civil Engineering. Being a black woman child of immigrants, she believes she must prove that there is something out there for everyone especially women from foreign countries where opportunities in lines of work usually deemed “a man’s job” can be slim to none. Although her career is just beginning, she is excited for the long, bright, and prosperous journey ahead. She is so excited to be joining a community that uplifts women in the construction industry and can’t wait to make lifelong connections.
