I grew up in a small town in Orange County, New York. I always thought the challenge of using math and science to solve problems was fascinating. I studied Civil Engineering at Manhattan College, graduating in 2015. From there, I began work in the field for a specialty geotechnical subcontracting company based in New Jersey that performed work all over the country. After 4 years of travel, I decided to base myself in the New York area permanently by accepting a position in Estimating at C.A.C. Industries in Long Island City. After a year of estimating and receiving my Professional Engineer's license, I moved to a project team as a Project Engineer on a high-profile NYCTA sewer relocation job in Manhattan. After a few years there, it became clear to me that my passion for the environment was at the forefront of my attention, and I changed positions within my parent company to Chief Marketing Officer of both C.A.C. Industries as well as the affiliate company Green Asphalt. Green Asphalt is the nation's first and only asphalt plant capable of producing 100% Recycled Asphalt Pavement, and I am honored to dedicate my time and expertise to growing the brand.
