Kristin Monji is a landscape designer, horticulturist and certified arborist from Orange County, California. Kristin brings a California sensibility to East Coast gardens, having spent her formative years climbing trees and exploring orange groves in Southern California. Her design/build firm, Birch and Basil, design, installs and cares for gardens in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area, collaborating with homeowners, architects, interior designers, contractors and developers. Kristin is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine where she played college basketball.
