Lauren Hildebrand, Vice President, Client Sustainability - Brightcore Energy
Lauren is an experienced leader who provides sustainability insight and guidance to help clients address the emerging needs in renewable energy through building electrification and decarbonization. In her role as Vice President, Client Sustainability at Brightcore Energy, Lauren helps to secure project deployment and financing opportunities primarily with large, multi-site strategic customers across a portfolio of energy efficiency and clean energy solutions, which currently includes geothermal, solar, energy storage, EV and LED lighting solutions. In her previous role as Sustainability Director at Steven Winter Associates, Inc., Lauren focused on sustainable and high performance residential and commercial building design, construction, renovation, and operation. Lauren’s expertise includes sustainable design integration; indoor air quality and energy performance testing; and implementing project certification for both commercial and residential programs, such as LEED®, ENERGY STAR®, NYSERDA, NJ Clean Energy, and Enterprise Green Communities. Lauren is passionate about fighting climate injustice for a more equitable future within the built environment. She guides owners, developers and building management staff on high performance building design strategies, cost effective building system operation, and energy-saving maintenance practices. Lauren speaks at conferences around the Northeast, such as the NYS Green Building Conference, NESEA’s BuildingEnergy Conferences, North American Passive House Conference, etc.
