Maryam is a Project Manager in the Program and Project Management group at AECOM Metro New York with nearly 20 years of experience in capital project and construction management, design, and procurement. She has successfully managed $40M+ projects, including the COVID-19 Emergency Enhancement of Indoor Air Quality for 12 H+H Facilities, the 26th Ward and Newtown Creek green infrastructure, the Sunset Park / Bush Terminal Infrastructure, the Hunts Point Produce Market Sawtooth platform, and Hunts Point Rail Spur, the Staten Island Railway/Arthur Kill Lift Bridge feasibility study, and is currently involved with the Progressive Design-Build for the North/West Battery Park City Resiliency project Battery Park. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology, a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the Mazandaran Institute of Technology also in Iran and a Master of Science in Pavement from the University of Texas at El Paso/Center For Transportation Infrastructure Systems. Maryam is an active member of Professional Women in Construction and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
